I have installed php by this way, but still I have problem with it....
1. IIS
2. PHP INSTALLER 5.0 (From php.net)
3. PHP EXPERT EDITOR (arranged to C:\PHP\php-cgi.exe)
HOW DO YOU INSTALL PHP?
I am new in php and I'm trying to learn it, but first step is installation...
Installing PHP?
Like the answers above hinted, it's best to install Apache - it's so much easier to work with. Install PHP can be best achieved by installing a WAMP (stands for Windows+Apache+MySQL+PHP) software. After installing the WAMP, you have Apache, PHP, and MySQL configured to work together out-of-the-box. It's the best solution, since you will probably need MySQL as well at some point.
For a comparison of some of the available WAMPs, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_...
2 go to home directory.
3. select configuration.
4. click add.
now set .php extention to be opened with php.exe. for example c:\php\php.exe
it worked on my case.
Reply:if you want to install MySQL as well i would suggest xampp at www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html i used it when i was using Win2k3 and it worked really well.
Reply:You don't mention your problem.
Dump IIS, use apache, it's not as difficult as you think.
When setup Php it worked fine except i couldn't get it and MySQL to work together. I followed instructions at the link below and it all started to work.
