Internet not working...help?

under internet options. Its say html editor: on my mother's laptop it says microsoft word, but mine doesnt have that on their. mine say's notpad and microsoft excel. My internet is connected, but it acts like its offline. I think this might be the problem b/c I dont what else it could be.





So do any 1 know how to change it to microsoft word??? thank u

I think you are talking about Internet Explorer, Tools%26gt;Internet Options%26gt;Program tab: HTML Editors. I think the drop-down list shows programs you have installed on your laptop which can be used to edit HTML.





Everone has Notepad. I take it you have Excel installed. Do you have Microsoft Word installed on your laptop? If not, you need to install Word on your laptops first.

what do you mean its connected, but "acts like it's online"? if you see connected at 100 Mbps in your taskbar, that just means you are connected to the router (or modem) but that does not mean you are connected to the internet.





try powercycling your modem, router, and computer, and see if you can get online after that.
Reply:Really...you asked about your internet connection or MS-Office suite? That's really confusing. If you talked about internet connection, one of the ways to do is to power off your modem and router for a minute. Then, turn on the modem first and follow by the router. If you want to try, you can change the side of the cable by unplug and plug them but in another side. If you talked about MS-Office suite, just go to install it in a computer that has no that software. Good luck.
