ITunes invalid drive f:\ ---- i have your answer!?

For those needed help with the infamous itunes invalid drive f problem, here is your answer. it is not mine, i found it, but i went through the steps (easy) and it works now to get your update youve been wanting! my commentary is in (parentheses). i did this on my windows xp.

"(press) Start (button) - (select) run - (type in) regedit

Once your registry editor appears click edit and then search. type in f:\ make sure to only select the box that says data.. To make it easy for you and for me to explain delete everything that it finds. You are only really looking for something that looks like f:\.. with c:\ somewhere in the string but just delete anything that it finds. then click find next and delete that ect. till it finds nothing else. After that restart your computer and waaalllaa.. (i did not need to restart my computer, also make sure you only delete the file(s) that say exactly f:\ or whatever drive itunes is gripping about)

good luck!
