Will I Get Into University?

I am doing okay but I got a C in Science and a D in math. My career goal does not involve math. Iam switching to applied math because I know I will do better in math there. Science I can fix. I am Either Acing everything else or I have a High B. I am trying to get into the University of Scarborough. I want to do something invlolving media (filming, news reporter, paper editor) and my back-up is plumbing or electician.

Reply:Yeah you will, as long as you are not going into math or science. If you want to do something involving media, take more art and photography classes. Strong background in languages and literature are actually far more important than math or science. Make sure you do well in your English and lit classes. You'll be fine. If I were you I wouldn't even waste my time on subjects like math. You don't need any advanced math or science to qualify for majors in media. Just keep up with your other grades.
Reply:well the C is okay, i got a C in a bio AP class and i still got into a University, so it's all good (but everything else was pretty good), but that D... not so sure... but i think so since you are doing well in other stuff, you are good, get good SAT's and extra curriculars, and check out collegeboard.com 's comparison of colleges thing that tells you the average everything of the ppl accepted in specific schools (GPA's, SAT scores, ethnicities, etc...)
