I'm writing a book, and I am near sending it to an editor, it is my first book. There is a part in the book where the main character is faced with child delivery complications. She is bleeding heavily and in excruciating pain.
"...what the blood surrounding her could mean. He had two options: trust his instincts, which meant holding off the delivery so that Ilyana could have a C-section to safely deliver the child. Or he could be wrong, and the baby would die. Still, if he allowed her to deliver the baby, there was the chance that the blood loss or any other complication could kill his child, with no way of helping it in the hot bathroom..."
So then he tells his wife not to push, safety of the baby, she passes out due to shock, she is taken into surgery, and the ordeal is explained by placenta previa that developed into placenta accreta because of a negligent OBGYN. A hysterectomy and blood trans.is performed on her
how do you deal with the baby? Does a previous abbortion explain it
Does it make sense?
im not sure what you're asking exactly but all i'd like to say is i hope the readers dont need to know much about the medical side of things because it sounds rather in depth! (course if it is aimed at medical students or whatnot then no problemo!)
Reply:maybe.
